Senior A is the 40+ IDBF competition division, where paddler/steerer minimum age in year of competition is 40; note there is no age maximum. Team USA Senior A competes in the Standard and Small Boat classes in Open, Mixed, and Women races.

At the IDBF World Nations Championships in Pattaya, Thailand in 2019, Team USA Senior A took home 9 silver and 3 bronze medals.
There are two steps for entering the process. All athletes must register with the USDBF and pay a membership fee. Once registered, you can apply for the teams that you are interested in.
