The USDBF is very excited to announce that we will be recruiting for the first Team USA Paradragon entry for Worlds in Thailand at the IDBF World Championship in August 2023.

Our current plan is to enter a small boat Paradragon 2 team (PD2) for this World’s cycle with a eye towards expanding our efforts in this area for future cycles. We are currently accepting applications for the position(s) of TEAM USA Paradragon Coach(s). If interested you can apply online  at the Team USA portion of the USDBF website. Fill out the “Coach Application” and submit to the High Performance Committee by November 15th. Further information regarding paddler applications and tryouts will be forthcoming after a coaching staff has been selected. We are hoping to run a Paradragon camp and tryouts during February in Florida, but will consider other locations if appropriate.

If you are interested in trying out as an athlete for the Paradragon division you will find more information at the “Paradragon” page on the USDBF website. All Paradragon entries are Open Class. The PD2 configuration is half paradragons and half non-paradragon paddlers
