The USDBF Competition & Technical Committee is currently seeking to expand its membership to support the race production of future US National Championships. Candidates should be experienced International and National paddlers, coaches, race officials and/or race organizers. Applicants should have experience at IDBF World Championship events and US National Championships to be considered for committee membership.

The Competition & Technical Committee is charged with reviewing and updating the Competition Regulations & Rules of Racing for US National Championships, producing the US National Championships, and ensuring the US National Championships are run to the highest possible standard. The committee is responsible for assuring equipment used at US National Championships conforms to IDBF regulations, conduct USDBF Race Officials training and in collaboration with the IDBF conduct training programs and certification of IDBF Race Officials.

Committee members term of appointment shall be four years (two US Nationals cycles).

Interested individuals should complete and submit the Competition & Technical Committee Interest Indicator below and submit it to committee chair Barb Michaels at competition@usdbf.org no later than May 30, 2022. Selection priority will be given to those individuals meeting the criteria listed above.
