The USDBF is the governing body for the sport of dragon boat in the United States, and a founding member of the International Dragon Boat Federation (IDBF). The USDBF is a volunteer organization dedicated to the sport of dragon boat racing. JOIN US! The mission of the USDBF is to promote the growth and development of dragon boat in the US for fitness, recreation, and team-building at all levels of competition.

Empire Dragon Boat Team from New York City was featured recently on The Today Show as part of Breast Cancer Awareness month. A sisterhood of breast cancer survivors are finding strength in dragon boat racing. Paddling through challenges, they’re turning their fight against cancer into a powerful journey of support and resilience. “We paddle for the people who can no longer paddle,” says one team member.
